Staff are so helpful and friendly. One female staffer went above and beyond to try to help me access a prepaid mobile account through La Poste. She spoke with the company on my behalf. Although we couldn't resolve the issue, I appreciated her willingness to listen and her exceptional patience with this rude, unprofessional and greed-driven La Poste service. Every staff member at Hotel Le Bayonne greeted me with a smile and 'bonjour' every single day - without fail - from the front desk to cleaners. It makes a difference when you're a long way from home and travelling solo!! Breakfasts were superb also! Vast choice of items and lovely display to look at.

I only spent one night but it was really nice. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely receptionist. Check in was very quick and smooth due the online pre-check in. When I first walk in to the room we were welcome by such a lovely scent. The room was clean, the bed so comfortable and the duvet was so nice and thick how I like it I felt like sleeping on a cloud. There’s a free secured parking for the guest right next to the hotel. I didn’t get to see the pool or have the breakfast unfortunately. But overall I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again the next time I am in Bayonne.

Nice location by the river adjacent to a pedestrian path to the centre (5 min). Lots of secure gated parking. The room was basic, but clean and modern with a nice view of the river. Appreciated the big desk and window with river view. The room was larger than it appeared in the photos. Staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and professional. Buffet breakfast was likewise basic but good, worth paying 16€ for the convenience as the nearest cafe is probably in the centre, at least a 10-minute walk. Will definitely stay again next visit to Bayonne.

We found the staff friendly and accommodating from the time we arrived until we left. All 3 rooms we had booked were on the same floor, we could use the luggage store on the last day and they arranged taxis to the airport. The swimming pool was much appreciated after sightseeing. There was a reasonably priced excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel is close to the town itself which was ideal.

Convenient location especially if travelling by car (only 5 minute walk from the actual city centre by the river). Hotel parking at a very reasonable rate of 10 Euro per night. The family room was very comfortable and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids.
